When I saw this picture of me in Josh's dad's junky pick up truck, I knew I had to scrap it. First thing I saw was this star burst-like pattern in the doilie. I cut it out of the doilie and then traced the pattern onto the Hambly brick paper as well as the Hambly Mini Chandelier overlay. I wanted to really express the fact that title is totally opposite of the picture so I used the chandelier overlay upside down instead of right side up... A lil play on words, right?

I layered the overlay on top of the brick for a fun background and traced the outline once it was adhered for a bold statement.

This is a picture of my friend, Silje and her lil pup, Cupcake. When I saw this picture... it stole my heart... and I'm sure it steals Silje's. I love all the bold patterns in the Tinkering Ink Blur papers but when they were right on top of each other, it seemed to get lost. So I put some form squares underneath the hand cut scalloped piece I cut out as well as underneath the picture for triple layer. When I saw the lil prison man on the Monopoly Chance card, that is what triggered my title so I just had to cut him out and pop him up w/a foam square as well. I added the heart and the hand cut chandelier and used the fiber to create a fun texture filled frame for the picture b/c the picture is really my main focus and by popping it off the paper 3 times w/the foam squares and framing it, I think it stands out from the busy paper.
