I used scallop scissors to cut the border on
the pink cardstock for a cute and whimsical feel. Here I also
used a huge photo to emphasize the vertical-ness of the layout.

I loved the yellow scallop paper from the moment
I first saw it. I thought the combo of rich red and yellow
would be perfect for a semi-romantic layout about the story
of my relationship. I used glue dots to help hold the wire
and the hearts to the page.

This was so fun! I love how the bright colors
and playful arrow bring movement to the page. For my title
I painted the chipboard letters white and added black dots
in contrast to the bright dots on the background patterned
paper.

This month's kit was so full of goodies. I am
not a card maker, but I loved the idea of sending this little
cutie off with a love note inside.

I wanted this to have a very monochrome and masculine
feel in contrast to all the other sort of girly layouts I was
making this month. I focused on the greens and whites and anything
with text. I cut out the pretty deco shapes from the journaling
tags and used my typewriter to journal directly on the tag.
