The January project is soooooo fun and sooooooo easy!!! Everything
just ties or clips together. The chipboard buttons make boring
old office clips into chic photo holders. They are attached
to the clips by little bits of ribbon. The clips attach to
the shutter with more ribbon. And the pictures, magazine clippings,
and Love Elsie frames are all attached to the organizer by
the clips. No glue, no tape, no mess!!!! The large blue striped
ribbon in the center of the organizer is simply clipped to
the back of the shutter on one of the top slats. Easy cheesy!!!!
I found the shutter at Home Depot, but I've seen them at
antique shops, flea markets, auctions, or just by cutting
a closet door in half. Another great variation would be to
use the project to make a corkboard and pin everything to
it, or a chalkboard, or magnet board......oh so cute, and
oh so easy.
